Having started my career in the field decades ago, I believe in the critical need for skilled craftspeople. That’s why I work closely with programs like Casa Uber Alles in Fredericksburg and Canyon High School in New Braunfels, where students gain hands-on experience by building real homes.

My involvement with trades programs includes my sons judging student projects like tiny home competitions and hosting students at my Parade of Homes houses. These experiences allow them to see professional-level craftsmanship up close. Additionally, participating in Homebuilders Association events helps fund these invaluable programs. I also take the time to speak directly to students, showing them the potential for rewarding careers in construction.
