Building Hope: The St. Jude Dream Homes Experience

Over five years, building three St. Jude Dream Homes became my most significant philanthropic effort. Raising $2.7 million for children fighting cancer stands among my proudest achievements, especially after visiting the St. Jude hospital in Memphis. Meeting families who never receive a bill, thanks to donations like these, is truly humbling.

The St. Jude Dream Home experience involved building homes with nearly zero cost through donated materials and labor. This challenge was always met with incredible dedication from the community, inspired by the kids we met at St. Jude, riding wagons through hallways despite their battles. Seeing their resilience, and knowing their families face no financial burden, drove us to push through obstacles in each build.

Building these homes was challenging, but knowing every dollar went to children in need made it all worthwhile.
